Date Posted: 03:57:13 04/19/07 Thu  The event started last night at 10. The event began when the host, Doa'a Abdullah announced the celebrity judges, among which were former Miss Egypts and Lebanese beauties plus the film producer, Nihad Ramzy. Judges: Fawzeya Mohamed Miss Egypt 2006, Heba El-Sisi Miss Egypt 2004, Karine Fahmy Miss Egypt 1998 and Sandra Rizk. The introduction was so macho and masculin, you could tell from the music and the contestants were sexy black baggy pants and looked great. They performed thier own opening dance which was designed by Ayman El-Refaai.  During the introduction: Amr Samaha, Haytham Hagras and Amr Salem. After that the contestants paraded in the first round of the competition, the swimsuits. I did not like the designs alot, plus many contestants did not wear them the way they should be warn "including Samaha".    pic1: The contestants during the swimsuit parade. pic2: Amr Salem. pic3: Amr Samaha. Right after that the special awards were announced and the winners are:  Mr Athletic by Golds Gym: Haytham Hagras.  Mr Congeniality: Amr Adel.  Mr Photogenic "people's choice award": Amr Samaha. Mr Best Peroformance: Mahmoud Abdullah. Right after that the Top12 were announced: Amr Salem, Amr Samaha, Haytham Hagras, Islam Sherbini, Karim Gamal, Karim El-Bakly, Amr Adel, Nassim El-Naggar, Ramy Jan, Mohamed El-Khouly, Tarek Naguib and Islam Swidan. Then Lebanese aspiring sincer/model Nisrine Zriek performed some of her songs on stage. After that the Top12 paraded in their toxidos.  Then Maryya performed. There was no Top12 interview competition, and the Top5 were announced and they are: Mahmoud El-Khouly, Amr Samaha, Amr Salem, Karim Gamal and Tarik Naguib. Each guy had to choose a question to anser and the best answer came from Amr Salem. However, the overall look competition which came later might have affected his chances in winning.  Then Maryya came again on stage and sang with the Top5 finalists Finally the titles were announced:    4th Runner-Up: Karim Gamal El-Din. 3rd Runnrt-Up: Mohamed El-Khouly. 2nd Runner-Up: Amr Salem.  Then it came to the Top2, Amr Samaha and Tarik Naguib. Both were the best from the very beginning, but Samaha had a huge fan base at the ballroom and i think that what really made the judegs minds.  Tarik was announced 1st Runner-Up and Amr Samaha is our new Mr Egypt!!! I think Amr is very nice but in International competitions Tarik will probably do better.
