Subject: Faking it.

This is inspired from something I once saw on Sex and the City. Carrie writes a column titled Faking It: Is It Better To Fake It Than Be Alone? And for a long time I pondered that question. Is alone better because its honest? Not really. Is faking it better because you have some company? Not so much. When it comes down to it, just which way do you swing? I'll be the first to admit it: I have the Meredith problem. At least she has intoxication to blame for lousy choices. Have you ever been with someone you didn't really love (or on occasion even like) just because they were there? Or maybe it was just because they paid attention. Human-kind has the insatiable need to be amongst others of like mind, or even just like biology. Let's face it... if you knew the sex was going to be good (like, really *really* good) but the person was someone that you didn't really see yourself with after a period of time, would you still have sex? Seriously? Food for thought.
