a startling expression here David...you bounce around with word play it was difficult for me to slow my reading pace down :)

i read your comments to DR and i do so smile....it is wonderful if all people get *you* but we percieve as we percieve, with unique eyesight.

It is why I love poetry so much. If all poets get something from a piece so clearly worked hard on, then that is an achievement...

back to your poem :)

the title was telling me immediately about the content, I like to think we are masters of our own destiny...i strongly believe so.

i truly identifyed with the last few stanzas...perhaps when the self speaks it is more intimate a read...either way this is excellent stuff!
