HAIR SHIRTS OR STARS

If me you seek
Just for a moment
Then best stay away
In distance where you were sent
While playing a distorted major label
Since I have not yet escaped
From what some think, is just a fable.

A fable of desire?
This too I must reject
Not wanting to fray
Connected live wires
Being a waste of time,
Giving or receiving improper respect.
So please, be gone to stay away
Leaving the green of me
On this side of the fence
For I have not the will or need
To touch another future
Of an empty past.

And if you stay sightless
To the all that I should be
So be it, that you'll not see
That once I turned my head to shed
Showers of heartfelt tears
Watering rose's hedge dirt bed
Blooming throughout with thorny emotions,
Where pricked fragments of your hair shirt
Lie alongside silk strands caught in motion
From my silken whisper of a skirt.

Know I'll always wish to be a friend
Without desire to fish for lies
Despite those wanting to heap some shame
Biting me as horseflies as if they were lies
To keep anyone they can away from me
As they buzz into people's ears a supply
Of false labels with assumptions
Following me for too many years indivisible by...

Opening a jealous Portal to suck away
Smiles radiating from my face
Or even my dancing soul
As some believe they're superior to me
Which does not ever enthrall
This one sporting a Mona Lisa grin
With stars deep within
Shining through my eyes as if Lillian Gish,
Aspiring to pass back
Those stars for all .. if you so wish?
