We have recently had an episode with our Shiba Inu becoming violently ill. He suddenly became ill with severe vomiting and diarrhea and was hospitalized for 5 days without clear reason. The vet did all the appropriate tests and could find nothing clinically to attribute it to. When we began doing the research on the internet, to check on recalled products, I found this site and have been disgusted as well as enraged by the information. Our precious Rocky was almost lost to us, and we believe, after having done the research that the wet food as well as the dry food was attributable to his illness. The products we were using were Nutro, Natural Choice and Nutro, Ultra.....wet and dry kibble. After spending a great amount of money, he is doing better and will survive. UNFORTUNATELY THAT IS NOT THE CASE FOR ALL !! Someone should be held accountable for all the suffering animals!!
