A beautiful mare gallops in. Painted Sunset was her name. The way she got her name was...one day when she just was a full grown mare, she was so happy that she galloped around her arena, and she galloped so fast she looked like a blur of black, white, and brown. That is the way she got the part of her name Painted. Sunset was given to her when she was a mare because her mom and dad could not think of a name for her when she was a filly. When she was a full grown mare she found a stallion. They fell in love, and one night they stuck off together to start a herd of their own. The sallion told her they should maybe they should just look at the beautiful sunset together. Then Painted Sunset's stallion remembered that her mom and dad could not think of the other half of her name so he decided her name should be Painted Sunset. And it was.They galloped off together to start a herd of their own. That night Painted Sunset's stallion died from colic. She was so sad so she galloped away probally never to see her bloved stallion again. She galloped here and now she is looking for a mate. She told herself to forget about bad pasts, so she did. She walked around looking for a mate. She wondered, will I ever find a mate?
