Subject: summer activities for kids in grades 1-13

There are still spaces available for area students entering grades 1-13 in the Summer Drama Workshop program offered by the Arts Alliance, a local non-profit charitable (c)(3) organization which has been successfully running fun theatrical educational workshops for more than 20 years.

At the end of each session participants present a show or two for their family, friends, and the public, either in Marlborough or Hudson. There is one workshop that teaches practical, marketable skills to teens working behind scenes and another one for the student who wants to learn classical theater styles; both of these meet weekday afternoons, while the other workshops meet weekday mornings. Most sessions begin June 29th, but later ones are also available.

While they are young, kids learn how to collaborate and cooperate for the common goal of presenting a great performance. Drama workshops build self-confidence and instill a love of the arts. Kids meet other kids with similar interests. Many life-long friendships are established.

Visit: www.upwitharts.org or call 978-562-1646 for registration forms so your children can be in “Grease,” “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Jr.,” “A Year With Frog and Toad, Kids,” or some other age-appropriate show.
