Dear Rhinestone Sisters,

One year ago I was blessed with the opportunity to not only fulfill a dream but to embark on a journey that has made a lasting impression on my life. It has been an honor to represent my home town of Des Allemands, the Catfish Capital of the Universe, and the widely known Catfish Festival as the 31st Louisiana Catfish Festival Queen.

While traveling our great state representing my festival, a festival I attended as a little girl and could only dream of one day becoming the queen, I have experienced the uniqueness of our state�s culture and heritage and true southern hospitality everywhere I went. It�s remarkably true� �You�ve never seen Louisiana until you�ve seen it through the eyes of a festival queen.�

I had a blast traveling with my weekend sisters, and have made friendships that will last a lifetime. Not to mention the bizarre and wacky memories I will always carry with me. You all gracefully accepted me into what I consider the cream of the crop sorority. I never imagined how much fun and excitement I would experience this year. The memories that I have shared with each and every rhinestone sister will always be with me forever.

On behalf of the Louisiana Catfish Festival, I invite you to join me and the Teen Miss Catfish Festival Queen, Michelle Fonseca, Junior Miss Catfish Festival Queen, Kimberly Baudoin, and Granny Catfish as we crown the next lucky ladies on Saturday, June 9th, 2007, and change their lives in ways that they can�t even imagine. This night would not be the same without you. The pageant will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and we ask that you be seated by 6:30 pm. Attached is a response form. Please return as soon as possible and no later than June 5th, 2007. If there is more than one queen responding to an invite (i.e., teen, junior) please add all of the same information pertaining to them.
