We are looking for a pair of black slacks for my 8 year old son's dancing costume. Does anyone have suggestions of what kind looks the best? Thanks!

[> We get my son's black pants at Nordstrom (Nordstrom Brand - but they sometimes have another brand as well). They do free alterations. Any size under size 8 has the adjustable waist band too. -- ...., 07:28:04 01/28/11 Fri [1]

[> we have tried girls and womens. he hasn't minded, as long as i cut the tag. we know one older champ who swears by Banana Republic women's pants. no pleat, and they stretch. we were also told to try ice skater pants. -- no name, 20:32:34 02/12/11 Sat [1]

[> nothing with pleats! and pin everything. shirt to the underwear, shirt to the pants. if they fit well, remove belt loops. loops=belt necessary, no loops=no belt -- untucked, 20:36:19 02/12/11 Sat [1]
