Saline Celtic Festival’s 1st Annual Feis
A Celebration of Irish Dance and Song

Saturday, July 9, 2011
Registration will be open from May 1 - June 30, 2011 on efeis.
Registration will close early if the feis sells out.

The Feis is presented by the Saline Celtic Festival in Michigan. It is an Open Platform event (NAFC opted out), meaning that this Feis is open to everybody from any organization or no organization at all. It is not required to belong to a registered school, everyone is welcome. If you want to participate, please familiarise yourself with the rules on the Festival Events and the syllabus on efeis, then click on the entry portion of efeis.

Competitions will be held for all ages, from Tiny Toes ages 3, 4 and 5 to Senior Competition for 65 and up, and everything in between. Typical competitions of Reels, Light Jigs, Slip Jigs, Treble Jigs, Hornpipes, and Set dances, will be available to enter. Vocal competitions will be for songs in English and Irish Gaelic. Convienient pre-purchase of entry tickets for non competing family members and pre-purchase of T-shirts are available.

The dancing and singing competitions will be outdoors, riverside, under a tent, well ventilated and fanned. Early drop off will be available as well as free parking and free shuttle bus service. Numerous outstanding activities for families are held at the Festival. Bring your blankets and chairs, if you like, for lounging and enjoying the event.

award winning English and Irish Gaelic vocal competitor Delia Phillips to judge singing competitions,
and an outstanding dance Adjudicater: Ashley Middleton
