Subject: Are there special BOYS' soft shoes?


Can anyone tell me if there are soft shoes that are made just for boys?

I'm just about to start my 4 and a half year old son in Irish dancing, and so I went to my local dancewear shop. They sold soft rutherford and capezio shoes. The shopgirl seemed unaware of whether boys could wear the shoes they old - she didn't know if there was a separate line of soft shoes just for boys.

I bought the rutherford shoes, because she said they were the only style they carried. Did I just buy GIRLS' soft shoes for my son? Are soft shoes meant for both genders?
