Subject: Custom vests?

If you had a custom vest/waistcoat made for your DS (or yourself), about how much did it cost, including material? I just took a vest in for alterations - it was OTR team vest that was too big (it was the smallest size available)and the alterations to trim it down were more than the cost of the vest. We haven't done custom yet (DS is PC)so just wondering.
