Dear Rana

It would be wonderful if you could come to London, but who knows what is possible.
Im very sorry about your father. There is only so much you can do. My mother often says "Ive lived too long" - but, well, there's not much I can do about that.

Giving some support is good, but you have to take care of yourself, otherwise you wont be able to support. It seems it may be a long time for your father, you must pace yourself. When my father became ill, i went every weekend. to be honest no-one expected him to live more than a few months. After a year I had to reduce my visits. I had to have a life of my own as well.

As to your son...well, there is very little you can do for now. Hopefully this infatuation will fade, especially if he runs out of money. If she is being 'bought' by him with gifts and treats and trips then that cannot last. The reasons you dont like her will hopefully become apparant to him in time, love is blind but infatuation doesnt last.
