Things are different here. If you are skilled in one of the manual works, you don't have to go through any apprenticeship or get any certificates. Most of these types of works are taught from father to son throughout generations, and you can open a workshop without any complications. The only thing you need is to attract customers and if you are good at what you do, there won't be any problem. Some of these workers make mush more money than people with degrees.
