No, no second guessing yourself, Cindy. Sometimes being extreme is precisely what you must do. It's your job to write from your heart, not to tell us what you think we want to hear, or to limit yourself to stuff you feel we can handle. Your world is different from ours, and I suppose it takes a lot of effort on your part to lift us into the fictional world you have created. But truth must be revealed, and so your art must be produced, even at the risk of being viewed as extreme. There's a lot of pulp on the shelves out there, all safe and contrived. For instance in the spring I'm more productive than any other time of year, my writing output will sometimes triple- I'm sure it's my creative part responding to the change in weather. - You know, I didn't take that piece as being extreme at all. I just thought - that's Cindy - she needs to feel this way to be the writer and person she is.   - Thanks for that, Denise, I appreciate being understood. I think it was one of those pieces that just comes from a place of total honesty, and therefore it kind of left me feeling vulnerable. Which is really what art is about anyway, it's just not always a comfortable feeling- you know, it's the whole, 'did I just post in haste and am about to repent at leisure?' feeling.
