Subject: Jamie never fails to look beyond the surface to the deeper meaning of whatever act he's engaged in, whatever event is taking place in his life. He must have been worth his weight in gold to those people he shared such a bleak existence with, just knowing there are stories other than theirs, worlds outside their ken surely helped them to keep going.
