Subject: I agree that there was a message there for Pamela in Casey's wee astronomy lesson - sadly it took him a little longer than I was comfortable with to remember the lesson himself *g* It's a little humbling when, while reading this, I stopped to imagine being just a wee speck of dust in someone else's universe. Our worries, troubles and tragedies totally insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
In reply to: Carla 's message, "I was so glad in retrospect that Casey and Lawrence had such a special moment together. I do think there was a message to Pamela in there, as well, that whatever her secret and the actions that lead to it, in the long-run it's not as important as their love and lives together. I think everybody who thinks beyond the day-to-day feels unimportant and insignificant in the grand scheme of things as some point. I certainly feel that way at home and in my work from time to time. After reading the next chapter, I saw the owl as a foreshadowing of Lawrence's impact on Pamela and Casey, a brief flare of joy and love that didn't last long." on 05:49:17 09/06/09 Sun

  • I'll agree with Mahri that it took Casey a bit long to realize his own words in the end. (NT) -- CindyS, 11:27:32 09/06/09 Sun
