Agent Gus


Street on Beacon Hill

This is a short chapter in which we are introduced to Federal Agent Gus.

While consumed in his thoughts about getting his house in order before Desmond comes for Christmas, Casey realizes he's being followed, again, by Agent Gus.

The conversation they have, after Agent Gus surprises Casey by "...poppin' up like a friggin' jack-in-the-box." (pg 24), leads us to believe that Casey's been avoiding Agent Gus. Apparently the agent is looking for Casey to pass information and evidence against Love. Casey refuses.

Q. What did you think about Casey staying away from the Agent and not getting invovled in turning over evidence to the Feds?

Q. Cindy (via Casey) describes Agent Gus as "short, slightly pudgy...with a disarming smile and crew cut" (pg 24). What were your first impressions of Agent Gus?
