I don't know if I'm picking up on Casey's comfort with the place in a way I never picked up on Pamela's comfort with Boston, or if it's just my long-term interest in Ireland in general, but there it is. The tiny apartment here, though, reminds me of the tiny apartment in Boston. Poor Casey seems doomed to live in spaces too small for his size. The images of Pamela in Maggie's kitchen and Jamie's study are just so vivid for me, I can picture myself in both places. This encounter just reinforces the image I have of Jamie and Pamela as platonic soul mates (I do know they love each other, in what they think of as romantic terms, and on the surface they would seem an ideal match, but I think they are better as true friends, IMHO). I love seeing Casey so confident and in his own element again, and really enjoyed the banter between him and Robin, but Robin gives me the shivers and not in a good way.
