Subject: So, I have a question for you all. I'd like some opinions.

I'm working my way through my timelines. Of course there are two storylines in this book, which only converge at one point- the storyline that takes place in Ireland and the one that takes place in Russia. Here's the thing- the timeline in Russia doesn't run parallel with the one in Ireland, so we backtrack timewise each time we go back to Russia and find out what's going on with Jamie. Now, if these storylines are dated- for instance it will say 'August, 1973' at the top and the parts are divided- as in we're only in one locale per part- Ireland for Part One, Russia for Part Two and so forth- is anyone going to find this confusing?

Part of what happened, is I had to back up each time I came at Jamie's story, in order to make the various events in the book work out. I can't tell you what events for fear of major spoilage, but that's just how it worked out. I didn't do it consciously, though now I am consciously trying to work it out in my head. It doesn't confuse me, but I'm wondering if it will be a problem for readers?
