Another thing my eye was always drawn to in Ireland was the lacy windows with flowers.
I've always had lace or sheer window treatments in my own home myself, but have never had the large outside sill for flowers. Just love love love that look :-)

This is an indoor sill however, and I think I can do something similar in my own windows *g*
