Subject: Pamela has never struck me as the type to sit and worry; she's definitely a woman of action, and I just do not see her changing anytime soon. La Vie en Rose has always been one of my favorite songs. Whenever we're at a place with live music (seldom!), I always request that piece, along with All the Things You Are. Edith Piaf wrote the English lyrics herself, as they deviate a bit from the French.

  • Can I ask a question? And probably I missed something obvious, but why did Pat go to Jamie? They've only met once, that I can remember, so why him? Pamela going there made sense, but it confused me that he was there...I am sure I am just missing something. *g* (NT) -- Lil, 09:50:26 07/04/09 Sat
  • I think he felt Jamie was well-connected and thought he might know the people to call to track Casey down discretely. Belfast is a small city, in relative terms, and I'm sure Pat would have heard lots of talk/gossip about the Kirkpatricks and what they were involved in. I saw it as a bit of a desperate move, as well; with no where else to safely turn he went to the most powerful man he knew. While he might not have ordinarily asked a favour of Jamie, for the sake of his brother there's not much Pat wouldn't venture, IMHO. (NT) -- Carla, 10:12:38 07/04/09 Sat
