If I was the queen of the world, these men would be abused and powerless by somebody much bigger and crueler than they are themselves. Maybe they'd learn a little from it, but if not at least they'd suffer. Very primitive of me and I'm not in favour of the death penalty (there are just too many wrongful convictions) but in these cases my primal nature takes over, I'm afraid. Of course, there was a case in the paper here today of a man who had been convicted of sodomizing and murdering his 4 year old neice. He spent 14 years in prison. The coroner who did the autopsy has since been found to have made serious errors in over 20 autopsies that resulted in criminal charges. Fourteen of those people were convicted based primarily on his "expert" testimony and reports. -- Cindy's Cottage
