Subject: #4. I too wanted Robin to turn out well in the end. So very sad, I did feel for him, and for Casey. Casey lost a lot in this book. It was hard for him to accept that he couldn't protect Lawrence or Robin from themselves. Neither he or Pat could protect Sylvie. They had to get Jamie's help in order to obtain thier own freedom! He couldn't protect his unborn children. And then, all the issues with Pamela. I think Casey saw that his wife wasn't the ideal that he might have created in his mind.
