  • 87-1) Casey is like a suitor waiting at the door, not knowing quite how his presence will be received. He and Pamela have been apart so long, that he feels awkward, shy, and especially nervous since he's not sure how Pamela will greet him. He's taken a long time to see Pamela again, and she could be more pissed off than relieved by his presence. (87-2) I'm sure Casey was aware of where Pamela was staying before heading out to see her though I don't know that it was better to meet at Jamie's house vs their cottage. Jamie's house is not exactly neutral territory since it is like a second home to Pamela, but not a comfortable place for Casey. I'm sure the grandeur of the Kirkpatrick mansion only serves to remind Casey of what he cannot provide for Pamela, thus putting him more on edge. (NT) -- Denise, 16:34:07 11/02/07 Fri
