87-3) I was surprised that Casey would take Pamela to the ruined cottage. It seemed so full of despair that it didn't seem to set a hopeful mood to their reconciliation. Perhaps it symbolized that although one can be abused by time and seemingly forgotten, the seeds of hope and ability to be rebuilt/reborn are still there - for Pamela and Casey, and also for Ireland too.
