Subject: I'm not sure I would say "better"

Because I really don't think of politicians as being better than me. I do look for someone who might understand some issues better than I do. Like economics, foreign affairs, etc. I am slightly put off by the "hominess" some candidates affect. It makes me think they're talking down to me, if that makes any sense.

I just want to see debates where the questions are asked and answered and rebutted once. Not going off topic - which all four of the candidates have done - just to belabor a point that the other candidate is not going to concede to anyway.

I don't want nasty commericals telling me what the other person has or has not done. I want to hear what YOU are going to do.

Unfortunately, in this day & age, "dirt" sells. I keep hearing "Dirty Laundry" in my head during political seasons!
