To throw my two cents in I think leasing out the track is definitely something to think about because Sonny is right, free help is hard to come by and they get tired of all the BS especially when it's for free. "Mr. Spectator" the gentleman was just simply putting a suggestion out here on the message board to get some answers from people that race the majority of the time at CCMMRA that wanted to voice their opinion. He might have done this just to get his feet wet and see what people thought prior to coming to a meeting and approaching the board and club members. All I can say is that the track has obviously done a lot of things right over the past 50+ years or it still wouldn't be going like it is. I just think that racing has changed and that leasing is something that CCMMRA might like to consider. I know someone that approached the board wanting to do this a few years back and they decided they didn't want to do it which was fine. So, that being said calm down and look at the possiblities before you say no way. It doesn't mean the board would want to do it anyway.
