Ok Erika, I think you got the point. And if you liked the fact that "many unanswered grammatical questions can be resolved at the discourse level", a good example is the way we use a separable phrasal verb in a sentence. In terms of grammar there is usually no difference in separating it or not, but in a context/discourse this diference is clear,since our choice dependes on the idea that we want to pass.
