Talking about lexical cohesion, on page 65, the author states two principal kinds about relations between vocabulary items, by Halliday-Hasan - reiteration and collocation.
In my opinion they are very interesting to think when teaching vocabulary. What do you think about these two principal kinds of relations placed? Do you think that making students aware about these relation kinds, showing them the importance of synonyms, hyponyms, etc. can contribute to their vocabulary acquisition and language development? In which way?
