She spotted a open stall on the end. She stuck him in and got him some hay to chew on while she groomed him. The paint stallion was a champion in her home state of Texas. A great all around hore, even though he had his "stallion moments," as Amber liked to call them. He was a great Western Horse even though he was mostly Thourobred. He used to jump until Amber had quit becuase "he couldn't do it good enough," but she knew she was lying.
She picked out his small, shod feet getting the whole hoof clean. She curry-combed his white and brown coat, qiving him a soothing massage. The paint nickered happily as she moved down his big mass.
She went over him with a soft, white brush then left momentarily. She came back with two flakes of hay, half a scoop of Beet Pulp, and half a scoop of Sweet Feed.
"There you go Desert. See you later."
She patted him and walked out to her truck.
