Date Posted: 06:54:36 08/27/07 Mon An animal rescue mission is in dire need to relocate rescued animals from a kill shelter in Louisiana. There is one leg of their journey for which a transport is needed. If you can drive on Saturday, September 1st for one hour between South Hill and Petersburg, please read below. BACKGROUND: We have taken many cats plus kittens from high kill shelters in LA, and are transporting the most urgent cats and kittens this weekend, but we still have others who we could not gather up and transport in time. We've had kind and generous offers to transport them Friday to Charlotte and to overnight them in Charlotte, but need to fill legs from there Saturday and Sunday. Our 5 cats and 4 kittens will require 6 carriers. Maximum number of carriers on transport will be 6 carriers (5 small measuring about 12"X12"X24" and one medium sized). Please contact me if you can even fit 5 small cat carriers in your vehicles. Carriers will be provided.
