My old block is at a machine shop in Fort Worth to be repaired. My old crank was cracked. I have a crank and new rotating assembly that would make a 540ci but I am holding out for the new crank for the all new 526ci Brad block. The new Alan Johnson Stage 2 fuel heads are here and ready to go. Still waiting on a crankshaft. Bryant was backlogged 6-8 weeks when I ordered it. Arias piston are here. The extra set of Hussey rods have not made it here. Hussey forged rods take weeks to get, too. The new cam is here. Waiting on the crankshaft more than anything else.
Looking forward to the new higher compression motor.
My old motor was only 8.5 to one compression. The new one is 12.4 to one. With the 40 pounds of boost my blower puts out, the new engine should produce the horsepower a motor like this is known to make. Still looking for sub-one second 60 foots and high 3.90's in the 1/8. I still plan on a 210mph pass or two and then concentrate on the 1/8 mile. Looking forward to the new season!!
