Subject: Pinks-Houston

Congrats to Frank(Wop Racing) for making it into the show at the Pinks in Houston. Give us some details...when will it air? What ET group was selected?

well lets see john called me friday a few times and told me to bring my car and take his spot (he talked to all pinks staff and they said i could take his spot) i decided not to take my car that night and just go watch but my wife said we were taking the car and see what happens. so we leave madisonville around 3:00 am saturday morning and get up there around 6:00 am and john helped me get teched in quick and then waited to be called to make time trials. we were in the 10.00 to 10.49 class "f" so i pilled my car down to try and run that class and ran a 9.87 and a 9.63. i definately thought since i did not run johns class that i was gonna go home forsure. we were sitting at the trailer bs and heared on the radio they were calling numbers out for the final 32 and john said frank get up there i know they are going to call ur number and so i went up there and on my way up they called my number so john came flying behind me and by that time i was up there at the starting line and had no idea they called my number and then john got there and said man they called ur number so i waved down one of the pinks guys and they said i could go ahead and race (had to be at the line when they called ur number did not know that) but went out the first round of the show by less than a fender but had a blast. they said it should air it in december 2010. thanks to john and denise for letting me take his spot i would not have taken my car at all and my wife also. i just wish that could of been mr bankston up there or mrs bankston since it was there spot not mine (but thats what friends are for)

Congrats Frank! You're right about Jon and Denise, you couldn't ask for better friends. I'll be looking for you at the Hill in your autograph booth to get a shirt signed next time I see ya, ha ha. I understand you were interviewed on camera also, I hope they get at least a part of that in the show.

I bet that small block was singing a sweet tune by the time it got to the 1/4 mile mark!

ya u are so right about the bankstons. and the interview it kinda sucked so maybe they will not show that. i think my car said it's about time u let me have it all the way ha ha..... no i have got to put a pump on it so i will not be leaking oil when i run the 1/4 mile. had a blast though.

Hey Frank, I've been thinking about it, I told you that you were catching up with me on Pinks viewing, BUT, I guess you might say, you're one or two up on me now. You actually made the show!! AWESOME!! Jon and I had a great time and really glad you and Amy decided to come. That was quite an adrenaline rush when they called your number. Amy and I were cussing at first because we heard you were already DQ'd and then after a couple of minutes we heard the announcement that you were in. WE WENT NUTS!!

denise we are glad we came also it was a blast. would not have taken our car if it was not for you and john and believe me we are very grateful. and no you are the pinks star (have experienced it way more and besides amy says they like having you on tv brings ratings up)

I do not support Pinks they are a ripoff. They have screwed me and my friends before and I no longer watch it on TV or support their abuse of racers in any matter. I visit this board for PH not pinks is why I commented.So go let rich screw you.

i don`t support pinks i went on a invite and was picked into the 32 in houston , prairie hill is my home track my car is the white camaro on the top of message board and on the prairie hill web site
