I have had the matchlock for some time now and did a quick measurement for length of pull. From trigger to the middle of the butt plate it is about 12 3/4". It shoots well but the only hunting I have done with it so far is for squirrels and it did a fine job. The first trip out with it it took 7 squirrels in 8 shots. The one miss was the very first shot and the squirrel just jumped the shot. If I can find some time before deer & turkey season to fine tune my shooting with it, it may find itself in the woods for those also.
