In all my 62 caliber pistols I use between 40 grains of fffg to 60 grains of ffg. I use a .595 or .60 rb with a ,010 patchCan consistently hit a 12 inch gong at 20 yards. THe big double I keep to 40 grains. FFg is actually a good powder to use in large bore pistols
