We took some pictures of a repro next to an original gun, the pictures and notes on them can be seen here:

We found that the locks are interchangeable, and it looks like the lock internals may be as well. The furniture is about as close as would seem practical, but interestingly the two original guns had differences in the furniture. Pretty cool experiment.
