Subject: Cookson

I am interested in sharing experiences with other folks who are shooting the Cookson.
I have fired some fantastic groups with this gun once I settle down and stop flinching. The gun shot low and I had to file down the sight and then I had a gunsmith file the bottom of the muzzle for me and the gun is now shooting dead on at 25 yds. I use a .662 ball,.019 patching and 70 grns of FFG. I cut a shot cushion wad in half and punch a hole in it with an ice pick and load it over the powder.

I would like to know if anyone has been firing shot and what the loads are etc.
