- (It's okay! We know how ya feel!)~Smiles, taking in the beauty. Her horse was getting excited so she urged her into a fast trot. Nobara whickered and slowly worked her way faster and faster until she was cantering. Yorudan didn't even bother to stop, she felt as if she were flying! - (yeah, I forget to come here sometimes too!) Christa made Blood go the same speed as Yorudan's mare, which meant that he was doing a fast trot. - Looking up, she smiles and urges her mare into a canter; soon coming alongside the others. - ~Smiling, she keeps Nobara at the fast pace they were going at. She breathed in the air, then sighed.~ "It's been so long sinse I've been trail riding! Usually I am in competitions now. Whether it's show jumping, barrel racing or halter classes!" ~Smiles at the thought of how well her colt, Sommy, had done back when she had shown him. And how well Thunder had been when she jumped. - Christa smiled at Melody, listening to Yurodan. "Yes. I have showed only a few times, in jumping. But I raced Blood once. Not in, like, the Kentucky Derby or anything, just something little." - ~Smiles.~ "That's great! I've only barrel raced, and Nobara was the perfect mare to do it too. - Listening as the others talk, Melody gives a small shrug and bright smile. "Oh... I showed Golden here a couple times in hunter jumping... Placed third in one and second in the other." Extending a hand, she pats the chestnuts neck affectionatly...blue eyes glowing proudly. "But that was quite some time ago. - Christa nodded. "Yes, this place will certainly keep you busy." Blood pricked his ears, dancing. "Oh my. Apparently, Blood has decided that he needs a run. Will you excuse me a moment? I'll be back in a few minutes." She gave Blood a little pat, as if to say that it was okay, and he took off, galloping out of view. After a few minutes, he came back into view, Christa grinning broadly. He came to a halt in front of the other two horses. - Grins and laughs softly. "It's alright. No need to apologize!" Golden extends her velvetine dial towards the stallion and gives a sharp whinney... ears pricked forward with interest as she seems to have noticed him for the first time. - Giving a slight toss of her head, Golden gives an indignant snort... but follows her owners instructions and pulls her muzzle back. Keeping her head high, she flicks an ear casually towards the stallion... but makes no more attempt at conversation. Sighing, Melody pats her mare lightly and smiles apologeticaly to Christa. "Sorry about that. She tends to do that sometimes..." Shifting her weight ever-so-slightly in the saddle, she shakes her head again. -- Melody, 11:05:19 04/07/01 Sat
- ~Yorudan clicks her toung and Nobara whinnies. She tosses her head and snorts.~ "Cut it out!" ~Yorudan said sharply. Nobara snorted and again but continued her quick-paced trot. - Giggles at Christa's last comment...lips curved into a half grin. Glancing over at Yorudan, she nods slowly in agreement. "No... There isn't, is there?" Turning her gaze back to the trail they were walking, her attention is suddenly drawn away. "Do you hear something? It sounds like water.... a river maybe?" - ~Laughs heartedly at Christa's comment, Nobara tossing her head, as if in agreement. She listens to the waters, bringing back hundreds of memories. The rushing water sounded like the sound of traffic and people going about their lives. The street, the shouting, the arguments... Yorudan shook her head. - Glancing over at Yorudan, she tilts her head slightly to the side...expression turning concerned as she notices the on-edge look in the other girls eyes. Deciding it best not to ask, she begins looking about in search of the river. "I wonder where it is?" She murmers, half to herself than to the others. As the sound grows louder, she looks the the right of them and slows her mare to a stately walk and points in the direction the noise was coming from. "It is over there. - Melody grins and follows lead, turning Golden towards the river. Urging her into a brisk trot, they soon reach the river. Pulling her mare to a halt, her blue eyes flash as her gaze sweeps over the wide, rushing river.
