A critic and detractor said that a beauty contest winner and titlist or title holder is not a queen.
Well, what and how would you call a woman who is nationally or globally proclaimed, formally crowned (wears an official crown), bestowed an official scepter, and conferred an official title in a formal process (of election) through a national or international contest / competition (which is also a stage show / presentation, a pageant, and a TV program / show in one)?
She is NOT just an ordinary, mere beauty but she is A BEAUTY QUEEN! A DIFFERENT KIND OF QUEEN! She is not a political queen like a nation-kingdom queen (monarch or royalty). She is not political. But A BEAUTY QUEEN is A SOCIAL QUEEN who functions as a national or international ambassador of goodwill and amity (the friendly and peaceful relations between nations) as well as tourism; and also as a national / international role model, environmental advocate, philanthropist, a humanitarian, etc.
But in the GLOBAL SCENE / SOCIETY or in GLOBAL SOCIAL STANDING, compared to a monarch or royalty (kingdom queen or king) and their counterparts (first lady, president or prime minister), the elected queens in the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International major, prestigious, global competitions are REAL GLOBAL QUEENS (real global persons).
Monarchs/royalties (kingdom queens or kings) and heads/chiefs of states or countries (the poll winners or the prime ministers and presidents who are products of political contests) are NOT.
The country U.S.A. may be powerful because of its strong, huge economy and military might, and can meddle and intervene in international conflicts, but its leader's title, position, and designation as "U.S.A. President" or "President of the United States" are NOT for the entire world but for his country ONLY. He is not "President of the World" or "World President" for there is none. But the prestigious crown, title, position, and designation of a world or global beauty queen are of and for the entire / whole world!
The election and coronation of a monarch / kingdom queen is only an internal affairs or event of a nation-kingdom (even if it is well-hyped through print and broadcast media internationally), while the election and coronation of a world beauty queen (Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International) is GLOBAL, involving so many nations of all continents of the entire planet, and watched / witnessed by the whole world on TV live at the same time by more than 2 BILLION people worldwide!!
A world beauty queen is a global queen while a nation-kingdom queen (monarch or royalty) is NOT. Though a world beauty queen reigns for only a year, the size, extent or scope of her (social) reign and queenship covers the entire / whole world--global and worldwide (indeed, she is a truly, global queen!); while the (political) reign of a kingdom queen or monarch / royalty is LIMITED to her nation-kingdom or countries-colonies only.
