Thank You All

It's been a month since Sash and I teamed up
and joined hearts and hands to expand and
upgrade the Muse Mongers Motel.

I created the Motel with the intention of building
a site that was intimate and cozy. A place
where a small group of muse mongers could
kick back and relax in an environment that
was healthy and rewarding for the soul.

I first met Sasha years ago at another poetry
site where people like Dawn and Thomas, of
Poetic Constellations (as well as Christine)
posted their poetry.

From the start I could sense we would be
friends and continue to grow in our journeys
as both poets and human beings with a
great appreciation for the world we live in and
the souls we share our days and nights
with.

Through the years I have only gained a
greater respect for Sasha as both a
poet and a person. This lead me to asking
her to accept co-ownership of the Motel
so that we could expand the site for our
poet friends. Together we decided we
would create a haven for writers that is
friendly and healthy but, most of all a
place where a sense of community is
both apparent and essential.

After one month I can only say that we
are both overjoyed at the progress of
the Motel. I'd like to take the time now
to thank you all for becoming a part
of our family here. You are amongst
the first group of people who have laid
the foundation for what's to come in
the future.

It is our hope that you continue to visit us
as each and every one of you has done
their part to help lead us along our path
of goals.

We thank you all, our dear poet friends,
for your contributions. Your poetry is the
backbone of our site but, your loyal par-
ticipation in commenting provides that
sense of community we are seeking to
build on in the future.

In our first month we have had over 5.000 page views.
We will be listing statistics here from time to time in
order to keep our contributors updated on the continued
growth of the friendliest stop on the net.

If any of you ever have any suggestions on how
we can better accommodate our visitors and
contributors please don't hesitate in sharing
your ideas.

This is a community where YOUR word counts
since you have been the ones that have
made this possible from the start.

We are all friends here who inspire each
other on a daily basis so that thousands of
new poems shall be born where souls share
in their journeys along the path of this
life we are so blessed to live.
