Date Posted: 08:30:37 10/19/07 Fri ![]() Pull up a chair You'll find me at Caribou, sitting in a mahogany chair at a small oak table by the window, providing a direct view of Walgreens just across the street. More than likely I'll be drawing, using blue and black pencils sprawled out upon the table, with a few haphazardly thrown about out of bouts of frustrations. If it's after 6 pm there's a chance I might be writing, in which case I'll have my thesaurus out along with my trusty pocket dictionary. Don't be afraid to approach me, even if it seems like I'm in deep concentration, I don't mind being interrupted with a friendly smile, and I'd enjoy the company more than I can say. You are more than welcome to pull up a chair and join me for a delightful conversation over a cup of coffee. I might be quiet and I'll probably be a bit shy but that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in talking, being quiet is just a part of who I am. Once the ice begins to crack the walls around me will slowly dissipate, though they won't disappear completely, just enough to let you into my heart. We'll share laughter upon rays of sunshine, we'll share smiles upon waves of friendship and we'll share words of beauty and grace. Within words our hearts will smile and our souls will take flight as we talk, sharing life. You'll find me at Caribou, sitting in a mahogany chair at a small oak table by the window, waiting for you with a warm smile upon my face. © JAH 3-21-06 [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
