] Date Posted: 21:42:31 10/20/07 Sat I never knew it could be so easy. To look at me you may even think it was beyond comprehension, but then, that makes it all the more easier for me. It was late evening on that first occasion, to be honest it wasn’t even planned, yet the result was quite stunning. I stepped onto the train at my station en-route from work, the carriage was reasonably empty, and I sat near the rear and picked up a paper to read from the opposite seat. As I sat studying the banal headlines, I realised that the man sitting next to me was leaning drunkenly against my shoulder. I asked him to move, but his inebriate state left him lolling against me and I had to physically push him away. As he slumped against the window, rocking in time to the train, with his drool streaked chin dribbling onto his shirt, I suddenly despised him. I hated all drunks, I hated all the fume filled piss-heads and their inconsiderate ways. My stop was nearing, the train was slowing on the approach, and passengers were milling around us, trying to get to the doors in preparation. I am not sure why I did what I did. I took the pocket knife from my suit, opening the blade discreetly, then as the brakes began to squeal I slipped the blade through the drunk’s ribs and into his chest. He made no sound, other than a kind of deflating wheeze as he slumped. The train stopped and I mingled quickly with the rushing crowd, along the platform and down the stairs to the freedom of the bustling street. When I arrived home I was surprised to find so little blood on me. I washed the knife and put all my clothes into the machine. The feeling of release was enormous. The next day at work, I read in the paper that a middle age man had been stabbed on the 17.30 train and had died before the paramedics had arrived. The police had no clues. The buzz of knowing that I had committed the crime felt euphoric. That night on the way home I watched the crowds, looking for another victim. Two nights went by before I got another chance to rid the world of a loser. The train was packed, and I noticed another drunk sitting in the corner. I stood near the shambolic figure, he was in a coma of alcohol, completely unaware of anything around him. My chance came in quite an unexpected way. I had the knife in my hand in readiness, unsure of exactly how to commit the deed. To my utter delight the train jolted, throwing me forward, I thrust the blade into the sleeping man, piercing him to the core. As the knife withdrew, I noticed the seep of blood onto his shirt, the crimson stain grew at a feverish pace. The train slowed, distracting the passengers. I placed my paper on the mans chest covering the wound, and once more slipped into the night. It has become a hobby, a craft. The Police don’t have a clue and the drunken slobs slip away into the afterlife without even knowing they have gone. I kept all the clippings, all the names and details of the scum I have dispatched. Twenty or more, it is so easy. And tonight? Oh tonight I started a new game, she was young and pretty, so drunk and naive to the horrors of my world. The blade slipped through her blouse into the gaping pout of her cleavage, her stifled moan, no more than a whimper as the dazed slut fell forward in her seat…….They won’t find her for at least an hour…not until the final credits run and the house lights come up………Hahahahahahaha……..Fucking easy…… [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

I recall a conversation we had a long time ago, and you said everyone has a bit of dark in them.Of course you are right, and as a writer we can allow that to flourish even though such things might be abhorrent to our natural ways. thank you for reading me Hon,.........Fancy a night at the cinema? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ( evil echo added for effect!) Love and hugs, Paul [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 07:27:57 10/29/07 Mon Paul. This story is gripping! I know it's out there in that land of crazy but, it happens that sciopaths exist and here you get inside the mind of one and do a great job of telling the story. Well Done! andy [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
