Date Posted: 13:32:42 12/21/07 Fri Thank you Anne Marie...glad you liked the pics! The snow is nice to look at Sash, sucks when the temperature dips into the minus category though. Van has been parked all week, it won't start LOL. Yep, nice to look at, and the kids, well, they think this is the best! They can go sliding and climb in it. I have to tell you, that the other day, out behind our building, the field was about 4 feet deep in snow. This is the normal path my kids take to and from school. But with the dump of snow we've had, they couldn't pass that way, and had to go the long way to school, trudging on the main road sidewalks that were just horrible. I got home early from school that day before the kids, and was out in the back with our dog for his run. I figured, OK, he can't go far, the field is full and he'll sink! So I let him run loose. Boy was I wrong! When he heard the kids approaching from the far side of that field, because they braved trying to walk through it. The dog tore off through the field. Mind you though, he could run quite far in it where the snow had packed down harder. Until, he got to the softer stuff and then suddenly looked like he went in to slow motion, trying to jump out of the place he sunk, and kept going until he reached the kids. Then he ran back the same way, patting down the snow, and in doing so, provided a nice narrow path for the kids to get back LOL And that's my snow story for today.
