How long will you take getting put out first round? Think about this. Not picking on anyone, but take Justin Curry, on wheelie bars he runs 4.84 like a slot machine. Without the bars, he goes 4.95 - 5.00, with the occasional knocking the tire's off pass. Which has the higher probability of a mistake?" on 08:15:05 12/05/07 Wed Hey Matt how goes it...A little background to suppliment your post. Several weeks back I heard TTT5 dropped L/S and gave it to KOTH. I called Matt Jone for the info on the class, he said He was not going to run L/S and there was no money for the class. Someone needs to run the class and go find sponsers, good luck and have a nice day. Last few years L/S was not supported much and did not have a constant car count. I had planned on running L/S next year so I created this board to find out if there were enough cars and interest here to continue/create the class. (A fact finding mission if you will). Organizing this through the Holidays is a little challenging. I have only secured a couple of minor sponsers so far, waiting to see how/if we continue. I have encouraged people to post their input to see how many cars we might have. The basis for the rules have been posted. I said a FEW rules were up for discussion and could be voted on...fiberglass doors and front panels(either or), 2 front seats, wheelie bars. All the other rules are basic for the L/S class. I understand about looking into the future of the L/S class, but also remember, as of right now, there is no L/S class. It has not servived the future. I am working on making this work next year, to get it started. A 16 car field would be great, but to get started 8 car field is the target. If this works, great, if not someone else can try, or we move on. Ok. I'll get of the soapbox now. Just thought I would answer a few questions on where we were at with L/S [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Replies:
