I am pleased to be among such August company.

I was formerly of Poetry Castle where I resided and made my home, for many moons in their Forbidden Room. I was most honored to be invited to your fine establishment.

For me poetry is as natural as the skin on my bones. It was part of me since the days of yore when I was first touched and knew of pain immeasureable. Hence the blood in which my muse revels in.

To our honorable hosts, I am indebted to you all for erecting a beautiful sanctuary and shrine where I may bathe and feel safe in the cool of the shadows.

And that my venerable friends, is some words from your dark mistress.
