To Let the Twilight Speak

It is in the touch of dusk that stretches, playful
before our eyes...that we become ~

the fading light twists, crawls, and winds
to bind and knot in evergreen tones
they feel our excitement, and wait for our quickening ~

some may call this a romantic rendezvous
but we both know the truth of it
it is the call of the wild that feeds this hunger
and to the fire, we succumb ~

an ardent stirring of mind, soul, and body
stoking the flame to climax
as we celebrate the sun�s dying breath,
we let the twilight speak ~
