feeding jealousy as intimately as any mother could,
assumptions not only birth them, they keep
them well fed on the milk of strife
suckled from hateful
teats of angry
sufferings of the flesh
demanding
what cannot by any
right be
demanded for any
but
that still are everyday
whenever
they decide they'll take
that which
would never have been given
to so unrepentant a taker's soul once even
loved mayhaps, compounding the pain from ugly angry words
