Nixon's connection did ruin his reputation as a good president. His involvement in the political scandal just outshined his vast achievements of his presidency. In your reply you stated, "Nixon lost all respect by the United States and the world when he acted in a most inhumane manner." I would have to disagree, his act in the Watergate Scandal wasn't inhuman, but HUMAN. This president was disgraced to a level of normalcy. He was no longer a favorite amoung most Americans, because he longer appeared above and higher than a normal citizen. I do think that Nixon's actions protrayed to the world a stereo type of Americans of our internal problems and the control we have over them.
