1978 Graduating Classes of CHS & SSHS Reunion Planned

You can count me in! I want to be up front with everyone. I actually graduated Canarsie High School in 1979. I was supposed to graduate in 1978, but for personal reasons was not able to. Most of my friends graduated in 1978 and I would love to see them again and be part of a reunion. I also had many friends who graduated South Shore High School in 1978 and would love to see them again. I think that a joint reunion would be a great idea, paricularly since both Canarsie High School and South Shore High School have now been officially closed by the City of New York. As most of you know, many of us not only moved out of Canarsie many years ago, but out of Brooklyn and are scattered throughout the country. Let's all take a trip down memory lane and bring back the Canarsie of our youth. What a great opportunity to cherish our past by reacquainting with long lost friends and classmates.

P.S. - I'm still a Brooklynite!

Gregg,

I definitely want to be on the committee and I hope that we start to get people soon. I suggest that by mid-March we finalize the committee and begin planning of the event.
